CYPRUS INTENDS TO PREVENT AZERBAIJAN'S FLIGHTS TO NORTH

The government of Cyprus intends to prevent operation of charter
flights between Azerbaijan and the northern part of the island.
Cypriot President Dimitris Christofias held talks with the Secretary
General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
Raymond Benjamin and representatives of the Flights Safety Foundation
to express his concerns.
Christofias condemned Turkey's actions as offending the international
shipment agreements, Fileleftheros reported.
