TARON MARGARYAN SWORN IN AS THE MAYOR OF YEREVAN

President Serzh Sargsyan attended the swearing-in ceremony for the
newly elected Mayor of Yerevan, Taron Margaryan.
The President congratulated Taron Margaryan and wished him success
and productive activity in the capacity of the Mayor of Yerevan.
The President availed himself of the opportunity to thank the ex-Mayor
of Yerevan, and wished him success in the future endeavors.
"Taron Margaryan is not new in the field of local self-governance. He
proved to be a skilled and careful head of Avan community, earning
the respect and love of the residents. This respect is not restricted
to Avan community and the Republican Party," the President said.
"Today he assumed a most serious responsibility before the city and
the surname of "Margaryan." Taron, you have no right to disappoint
us and all your townsmen. We all stand by you and are always ready
to help and support you," President Sargsyan said.
