YEREVAN, APRIL 5, ARMENPRESS: Soiree dedicated to 82nd birth
anniversary and 55th work anniversary USSR People's Artist Khoren
Abrahamyan was held April 5 at Moscow Cinema. The event opened with a
film telling about the life and work of Khoren Abrahamyan, according
to Armenpress.
"Khoren was not only a good actor, but a talented stage director, man
and friend as well," said actor Armen Jigarkhanyan. He stressed Khoren
Abrahamyan's talent and way of thinking was exclusively up-to-date.
Khoren Abrahamyan played 200 roles, staged 40 plays, starred in 60
films. His plays and films were welcomed in Asia, Europe and America.
The soiree took place under the patronage of Armenia's Police and on
the initiative of "Khoren Abrahamyan and Theater" charitable cultural
foundation. Police Chief Vova Gasparyan, distinguished public and
cultural figures attended the event.
