YEREVAN, APRIL 14, ARMENPRESS. The society does not differentiate the
majority and proportion systems of elections. ''Sociometer'' center
head Aharon Adibekyan told the reporters at the press conference with
the journalists. The interlocutor highlighted that there are precincts
where the nominees are unknown to the public. The surveys conducted by
the center testify the above mentioned statement.
''The candidate running by majority system should mind the work
referring to the community; reconstruction, social issues.
Whereastheproportionalnominee is expected to get involved in economy
growth, law making and elaborating tasks'' Adibekyan noted.
The sociologist informedthat the greater part of the electorate is
ignorant about the pre-election programs of the parties.
''Only 6 percent of the electorate is getting acquainted with
pre-election booklets; one-third is reading pre-election programs of
the parties'' the interlocutor assured.
