ARMENIA, BELARUS INTERESTED IN THE EXPANSION OF COOPERATION

President Serzh Sargsyan received the Foreign Minister of Belarus,
Sergey Martynov, who has arrived in Armenia for an official visit,
President's Press Office reported.
The Armenian President and the Foreign Minister of Belarus agreed
that it's necessary to intensify the efforts towards reinforcement of
Armenian-Belarusian friendly relations, expansion of cooperation in
different spheres and development of cooperation in the economic field.
The interlocutors noted the fields of machine-building, agriculture,
high technologies, science and education and nuclear energy as the
most promising areas of cooperation.
Stressing that being partner countries, Armenia and Belarus are
also active members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization,
President Sargsyan and Minister Martynov attached importance to the
mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of international
organizations.
