THE NUMBER OF APPLICANTS FOR HIGH EDUCATION INCREASED IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, APRIL 17, ARMENPRESS. Assessment and testing center finished
the unified and centralized examinations' applications submitting
process and currently the stage of data basing is underway. During the
press conference held in Armenpress press conference hall Assessment
and Testing Center spokesman Gayane Manukyan highlighted that the
examining centers and tests samples will be established according
to the data. 18 thousand 129 applicants have submitted applications
for studying in Armenia' Universities, the graduates from Nagorno
Karabakh inclusive, whereas the number of applicants in 2012 made 17
thouasnd 656. The number of applicants has increased from Artsakh,
Tavush and Syunik."Biology", " Chemistry" subjects top the list
of favored subjects whereas the interest towards "Mathematics" and
"History of Armenia" subjects reduced. 11 thousand 822 applicants
will take " Armenian language and literature" subject - 8 thousand
968 applicants "Mathematics" subject.
