Today the NKR Prime Minister Ara Haroutunyan has held a conference
with several ministries and representatives of state governing bodies
on issues of tree planting, sanitary purification and improvement of
settlements. The head of the government underlined that though a month
of campaign is carried out and AMD 7.5 million is assigned for it,
rates of works are not satisfactory and there is a need of active
steps in almost every area. First of all sanitary purification must
be on the agenda, underlined the Premier. On the eve of May triple
holiday we must make our country more beautiful and comfortable;
we expect an influx of guests and tourists: it also prompts us that
we must solve questions of landscaping, sanitary purification and
improvement on time and more properly.
During the conference mayor of Stepanakert, heads of state departments
informed of the work process of the issue being discussed and mentioned
of the assistance they need. Prime Minister assigned corresponding
tasks and exhorted all the state bodies to involve youth organizations
in improvement works. By the Prime Minister's words periodical days
of volunteer labour must be organized both in Stepanakert and in
other communities. Head of the Government instructed to pay a special
attention to rural settlements.
