YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMNEPRESS: Closed borders and threats of force
use have nothing to do in 21st century. As reports Armenpress this was
noted by Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan during the meeting with
European Commission President Manuel Barroso. `Moreover, we must show
null tolerance against the evil on the territory of our partnership.
All our statements and actions become incomplete when on its
background one partner country calls the other partner country an
enemy being a poor example of national hatred for a whole nation'
Serzh Sargsyan said.
According to Armenian President it is not possible to pretend like
everything is right when Turkey which is willing to become EU member
keeps the border of Eastern ally Armenia closed. `That not only denies
the logic of the partnership but also violates the main principals of
international law. European closed borders should not be used as
dividing lines' concluded the Head of State.
