Armenia is determined to continue large-scale reforms, Edward Nalbandian says
Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said
that Armenia is determined to continue implementing large-scale
reforms meeting European standards.
Nalbandian said this during his meeting with the Foreign Ministers of
Poland, Sweden and Bulgaria Radoslaw Sikorski, Carl Bildt and Nikolai
Mladenov, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Armenian
Foreign Ministry.
The Minister attached importance to the cooperation within the Eastern
Partnership initiative.
It was registered during the meeting that there is rather good
progress in a number of areas of Armenia-EU cooperation and the
intention to deepen and develop the cooperation within the Eastern
Partnership was reiterated.
The sides pointed out the importance of making joint efforts to
complete the negotiations on Armenia-EU Association Agreement
including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement till the
Eastern Partnership Summit due to be held in Vilnius in November 2013.
"We completed the negotiations on visa regime facilitation and we'll
sign the relevant agreement in a few days. It'll give Armenian youth,
students, artists, businessmen, sportsmen and representatives of other
spheres a good opportunity to enter European Union countries more
easily", noted the Armenian Foreign Minister.
