ARMENIAN MINISTER OF ECONOMY FORECASTS THE SHIFT FROM ECONOMIC GROWTH TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran
Davtyan considers 2012 to be a successful year for economy. Armenpress
reports Tigran Davtyan has noted during December 24 briefing that
greater economic growth will be recorded till the end of the year.
According to Minister the most promising are the sectors of industry
and agriculture.
"I guess the most important thing is that both business community
and the state are positive. There is a confidence of being on a right
way," Minister Davtyan noted, adding that there were all the needed
conditions to keep that positive dynamic in the future.
"We are going to have not only quantitative but also qualitative
growth and there will be not only economic growth but also economic
development in Armenia," Minister of Economy underlined.
