MP LYUDMILA SARGSYAN ON DAVIT SHAHNAZARYAN'S PULLOUT

MP from the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Lyudmila Sargsyan said
ex-member of the ANC Davit Shahnazaryan is as concerned over the
situation in the country as the ANC does.

"Shahnazaryan has other approach over continuation of fight and we
respect it. We should be tolerant and respect the decision of our
friend and continue our fight," she told the reporters today.

Moreover, the ANC MP believes their roads will still cross. "I am more
than convinced that our roads will cross in September, October. We
will meet," she said, adding that the parallel fight may be more
    efficient.

Lyudmila Sargsyan did not agree with the viewpoint of Levon Zurabyan
that the ANC is being cleaned. "Each political figure was enriching
the ANC, but there are different formats of fight which is difficult
to combine," she said adding, that more people prefer to stay in the
    ANC than leave.

Commenting on Davit Shahnazaryan's statement that the opposition is
not legitimate, Lyudmila Sargsyan noted that it does not refer to the
ANC. She said he was speaking about Prosperous Armenia.

Lyudmila Sargsyan also spoke about the possible candidate of the ANC
in the coming presidential elections. She stressed for her the
preferable candidate is Levon Ter-Petrosyan as she trusts his
    "political instinct".

She did not rule out the possibility of nomination of other candidates
    from the ANC.
