ZHOGHOVURD: CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS EXPECTED IN ARMENIA

The Armenian authorities plan to amend the Constitution. They have
not yet announced their intentions but have begun gradually preparing
society for that process, periodically dropping hints about it,
Zhoghovurd reports.
Chairman of NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Issues David
Harutyunyan refused to give the paper details about the planned
amendments.
According to Zhoghovurd's information, the authorities have outlined
the team for drafting constitutional amendments. In this context,
the names of Gagik Harutyunyan, David Harutyunyan, Hrayr Tovmasyan,
Aghvan Hovsepyan, Gevorg Kostanyan circulate, the paper writes.
