`Armenian army welcomes its 20th jubilee with serious achievements
and successes. We fought the war forced to us with shotguns, but today
we have our own production, and this conference is aimed at displaying
the road we've passed and our future,' Derenik Dumanyan, president of
State Medical University after M. Heratsi, delivered opening remarks
    at military-medical conference.

The conference is organized on the sidelines of events dedicated to
the 20th anniversary of formation of Armenian army. Issues related to
the establishment of military medicine, its past and future
development will be highlighted during the conference.

`Although we've materialized a number of achievements in military
medicine, we still have lots of things to do,' D. Dumanyan said adding
that 90 doctors would be awarded with different prizes for their
contribution in Artsakh war, assistance in front line.

The conference hosts Parliament Speaker Samvel Nikoyan, Defense
Minister Seyran Ohanyan, President of Volunteer Homeland Defenders
Union Manvel Grigoryan, MPs, Generals and officers.

Military medicine has been established in Armenia parallel with the
