Here's a scene from the 12/34 polling station in Yerevan's Shengavit district.
The woman in the photo holding a bunch of papers alleged to be a copy
of the local voting rolls is Marineh Hakobyan. For most of the day she
has been seen strolling around outside the polling station and
sometimes popping inside asking about the voting numbers.
Andranik Haroutyunyan, the proxy of Heritage Party MP Anahit
Bakhshyan, noticed the woman and her suspicious activities. He asked
the woman what she was up to.
Marineh Hakobyan then spoke to a group of unidentified men who were
also hanging around, complaining that Haroutyunyan had approached her.
The woman stormed into the polling station, confronted Haroutyunyan
and started cursing.
MP Bakhshyan made a call to Sousanna Sargsyan, who heads the local
election commission, telling her that if `that woman isn't removed
from the premises she would file a complaint with the Prosecutor's
Office.'
A number of unidentified law-enforcement personnel were also in the
polling station. They claimed that they had been ordered there but
refused to say by whom.
