WE SHOULD COOPERATE WITH NATIONS LIVING IN AZERBAIJAN WHICH DON'T WANT TO FIGHT AGAINST ARMENIANS. ARA PAPYAN
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS: Turkey will make some steps threshold
2015 aimed to the regulation of Armenian-Turkish relations, noted
Ara Papyan the director of "Modus-Vivendi" center during a press
conference on November 8, highlighting that he was for the regulation.
"Nowadays the Middle East is in a controllable chaos and Armenia may
face beneficial opportunities to have dividends on the background of
the regional developments" Armenpress quoted Papyan as saying.
Referring to the development in South Caucasus the leader of
"Modus-Vivendi" center said that the period of 2013-2014 would be
the harshest for Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as Azerbaijan's oil
reserves were diminishing and the volume of export reducing.
"The war in the South Caucasus is the war not between the troops
but between the nations. In the areas where once Azerbaijani troops
stepped in massacres and ethnic cleansing of Armenians took place"
mentioned Papyan.
According to him there are more than dozen peoples living in Azerbaijan
which don't want to be eliminated from the historical arena, want to
keep their language, culture and at the same time don't want to fight
against Armenians in Karabakh war. So these are the people with whom
we should cooperate.
