Armenia exported more peach and grape in 2012

YEREVAN. - Armenia exported four times more peach and 2.7 times more
grape from the beginning of the year, as compared to the same period
last year, Armenian Ministry of Agriculture informs Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
In numbers, exported peach was of 1,597 tons, while grape of 8,227.5 tons.
Export of apricots also increased compared to the last year index by
73 percent making 12,629 tons, cherry by 64 percent (1,104.8 tons). At
the same time, export of vegetables increased by 7 percent and made
4,271.3 tons. Armenia's main export market is Russia, followed by
Ukraine and Belarus. This year, 19 tons of grape was also exported to
Georgia.
