CHILD DROWNED IN YEREVAN'S VARDAVAR LAKE

YEREVAN. - A 12-year-old child fell in the Vardavar Lake in Yerevan,
and rescuers were required in order to save the child's life, Armenian
Ministry of Emergency Situations informs. The rescuers received the
alarm at 4.00 p.m. on Thursday. Rescuers and paramedics arrived at the
site, the Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am, and took the body of
a-12-year-old Sargis Klekchyan out of the lake. As the agency informed,
earlier a teenager drowned in Lake Sevan in Armenia's Gegharkunik
Region. Rescuers took out of the water the body of Astghadzor village
resident 15-year-old Arabo Shahbayan at 4.45 p.m.
