Will West-Russia model apply Armenia? - opinions
18:10 - 31.03.13
The West-Russia cooperation model, which has been widely analyzed
recently, is not likely to find its reflection Armenia, says a former
president of the Central Bank.
`I judge from the press as you do, and I see a European Union
representative say repeatedly that it is time to decide which way to
take,' Bagrat Asatryan told Tert.am, noting that a similar demand is
also voiced by Russia.
But a former lawmaker of the Prosperous Armenia party, Vardan
Bostanjyan, thinks the scenario quite possible.
`There's nothing impossible, as they say. One thing is obvious: the
interest in Armenia exists, as a matter of fact; hence that's a
possible option. The West and the East are likely to reach an
agreement on this point,' he said.
