OPPOSITION ACTIVISTS WILL WALK FROM GYUMRI TO YEREVAN ON APRIL 7

GYUMRI.- The opposition Heritage party headed by Raffi Hovannisian
will organize a march from Gyumri to Yerevan on April 7, Armenian
News-NEWS.am correspondent informs.
The decision was announced by Vahagn Hovhannisian, coordinator of
party's branch in Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia.
"On Sunday morning we will walk from Gyumri to Yerevan. Since the
path is not a short, we encourage participation of only those who are
physically prepared, including young people. Young people are going
to prove that they are ready to defend their rights," he said.
April 9 is the day of inauguration of President Serzh Sargsyan.
Runner-up in presidential elections Raffi Hovannisian did not recognize
election results and is going to hold a mass protest action in the
center of Yerevan on the same day.
