CHAIRMAN OF KUWAITI NEWS AGENCY IMPRESSED BY CULTURAL TREASURES OF MATENADARAN

YEREVAN, APRIL 3, ARMENPRESS: Board Chairman and Director General
of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim
Al-Sabah on April 4 visited Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient
Manuscripts (Matenadaran) to get acquainted with the treasures of
Armenian culture. As reports Armenpress Sheikh was impressed by the
exhibits of Matenadaran and expressed his gladness over his visit to
Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts.
Responding to the question regarding the existence of such institute
in Kuwait he has noted that Centre of Islamic Manuscripts operates
in Kuwait. KUNA chairman also visited Cafesjian center for arts to
get acquainted with the pieces of modern art.
Delegation of Kuwait News Agency on April 2 arrived in Armenia in order
to sign an agreement of mutual understanding with Armenian state news
agency Armenpress. According to the agreement sides should implement
news and experience exchange, support each other's reporters, assist
the coverage of events of bilateral interest held in Armenia and
Kuwait, implement photo exchange and promote professional cooperation.
