PROTEST MARCH TO BE HELD FROM ARMENIA'S GYUMRI TO YEREVAN

GYUMRI. - At the initiative of a group of residents from Armenia's
City of Gyumri, a march will be held, from Gyumri to capital city
Yerevan's Liberty Square, to take part in a rally to be held there
on April 9-that is, the day when President Sargsyan is scheduled to
formally swear in for a second term in office, and also when opposition
Heritage Party Chairman, former FM Raffi Hovannisian plans to swear
in, at Liberty Square, as Armenia's new president.
"This is a protest whereby we express our dissatisfaction with the
large-scale fraud during, and the official results of, the presidential
election that was conducted on February 18.
"We will fight until justice prevails. Heritage Party Vice-Chairman
Armen Martirosyan will accompany us all through the march.
"We will start the march on [Sunday,] April 7, at 9am, from Gyumri's
Theater Square. The residents of all cities and villages on the
Gyumri-Yerevan road may join us along the way.
"This march is a civil initiative that is carried out within the law,"
the march organizers' press release states in particular.
