SOME PROFESSIONS TO BE REDUCED IN ARMENIA IN 2014

Ashotyan said today that the list of higher education professions
will be revised in 2014 bringing it in line with the UNESCO standards.
The Minister clarified that the change of the profession classifier
means that some professions will be eliminated from the educational
system, their names will be changed and some professions will be
grouped.
"We have inherited the profession classifier which existed since the
Soviet Union which should be brought in line with the developments
in the modern world. What we will have in 2014 will be the hybrid of
what we have and the new one", said Armen Ashotyan.
