ALTERNATIVE INAUGURATION AT THE LIBERTY SQUARE

As President Serzh Sargsyan was taking his oath and assuming office
at a special sitting of the National Assembly at the Karen Demirchyan
Sports and Concert Complex, runner-up in the presidential elections,
leader of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisyan was holding an
alternative inauguration ceremony at the Liberty Square.
Raffi Hovhannisyan read out the text of the "New Armenia" oath, and
said it was his last oath.
Hovhannisyan declared he will continue the struggle and invited the
President and the Catholicos of All Armenians to the Liberty Square at
6 p.m. Participants of the rally continued their march in the streets
of Yerevan.
