US STATE OF MAINE PASSES RESOLUTION CALLING US PRESIDENT OBAMA AND CONGRESS TO RECOGNIZE NAGORNO KARABAKH'S INDEPENDENCE

The US State of Maine legislature has passed a resolution calling the
US President and Congress to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan's
Nagorno Karabakh region occupied by Armenia.
APA reports quoting the website of Maine legislature that the
resolution was introduced by Congressman Scott Hamann and is supported
by members of the House of Representatives Andrew Gattine and Sara
Gideon. Earlier, similar resolutions were also adopted by the states
of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
