A Russia-based Armenian weightlifter has won a gold medal at the
European Championship held in Tirana, Albania.
David Bejanyan won the Champion of Europe's title after lifting 181kg
in the snatch and 230 kg in the clean and jerk exercise (total 441
kg).
Russia's Maxim Sheyko won the silver medal (184kg + 220kg). The bronze
was awarded to Georgia's David Gogia (183+218).
