ACCUSED OF ENRAPTURING THE FOOD DUE FOR THE MILITARY UNIT PERSONNEL

The storekeeper of the RA MD N military unit Arayik Badalyan was
taking different types of food from the military storage on daily
basis, between December 16 and 23, 2012, with the objective to sell
it, according to the preliminary investigation body. The case was
taken under the inquiry of the Court of General Jurisdiction of
Tavush region.
According to the indictment brought in by the preliminary investigation
body Arayik Badalyan was taking the food foreseen for the military unit
personnel from the food storage on the indicated dates and by misusing
his official powers was secretly removing food of different type and
size from the storage, transporting it to Vanadzor and selling.
Arayik Badalyan is accused on the grounds of the Article 179, Clause
2, Point 1 of the RA Criminal Code. The undertaking not to leave was
implemented as a preventive measure against him.
