Heritage party hails the removal of Yerevan police chief Nerses
Nazaryan as his behavior on April 9 was not adequate, deputy leader
of the party Armen Martirosyan said, speaking to Tert.am.
"His orders on that day were not adequate in the created situation and
more probably he was responsible for the clashes," Martirosyan said.
Asked why he thinks so as chief of Armenia's police is Vladimir
Gasparyan, Martirosyan said, "We had many occasions to learn that
different figures were giving different instructions. The published
video shows that Vladimir Gasparyan was of the other point of view
and luckily we managed to avoid unnecessary tension and undesirable
situation. Both parties understood what could happen."
