PROCESSION DEVOTED TO 98TH ANNIVERSARY OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE TO TAKE PLACE IN BEIRUT

YEREVAN, APRIL 18, ARMENPRESS: The Lebanese Commission, coordinating
the events devoted to the 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide,
will organize a procession in the center of Beirut next week.
As reported by Armenpress, quoting the Dailystar, the event would
take place on April 24 in the yard of the Armenian Apostolic Church in
Antelias, where prayers would be cited in the memory of the Armenians
fell in the Armenian Genocide and wreaths would be laid on the Memorial
commemorating the victims of the massacre.
The procession will start at noon.
"The procession aims at making Turkey to stop the denial policy. We
will demand that justice is restored and Turkey compensates the
Armenians for the sufferings and human losses", - says the Commission's
announcement.
