PROSECUTOR GENERAL HAS A LOT OF WASHING TO DO
The ANC has reported detailed information on the property of the
millionaire mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan and demanded to find out
the origin of his property within the framework of this report of
assumed crime.
What will the Office of the Prosecutor General do which is led by the
president emeritus of Nig Aparan Union of Compatriots? It seems that
there are all the grounds to deafen Vartan Oskanian's scandalous case
by Taron Margaryan's supersonic case.
It will take the Prosecutor General's Office the same approach to the
Civilitas. It stated to protect the interests of the Civilitas from
Oskanian, its founder. If Aghvan Hovsepyan loves Armenia at least as
much as he loves the Civilitas, he will establish a wonderful
precedent of looking into the legality of property of a high-ranking
government official.
However, Aghvan Hovsepyan has already done everything he could. I do
not mean his assignment to investigators to rake in his papers and
find out the source of his millions of dollars.
Nig Aparan Union of Compatriots with its president emeritus who is
also the prosecutor general of Armenia has stated to support Taron
Margaryan.
One does not need vivid imagination to guess the follow-up of the ANC
report. It is not ruled out that Nig Aparan may claim responsible for
the property and announce that their union donated the property to
Taron Margaryan.
Nig Aparan stated to support him and now Taron Margaryan is in trouble
and needs support. Let alone the homeland and state, but Aghvan
Hovsepyan certainly cares about Taron Margaryan as much as he cares
about the Civilitas otherwise Nig Aparan would not hold out its
support. Consequently, the prosecutor general will do everything to
protect the interests of Taron Margaryan from the society.
