ETHICS COMMITTEE HAS NOT YET TAKEN INTO PRECEDING THE CASE AGAINST MP NAIRA KARAPETYAN

The temporary Ethics Committee of the National Assembly has not
yet taken into preceding the application of the director of Yerevan
Moscow house. "There are several issues connected with the formal
requirement of the application, about which the applicant will be
informed after which the committee will decide upon the proceeding"-
the president of the committee, republican Davit Harutyunyan informed.
According to the information of media the applicant complained against
the member of the Republican fraction Naira Karapetyan, who in the
telephone conversation with her, according to the applicant, showed
a behavior not suitable for the MP and woman.
N.Karapetyan refused to comment on the application filed against her,
noting that "everything is not in the way that is being presented".
She assured that in the case of the discussion in the committee she
will demand the hearing to be held open doors.
According to the charter-law of the National Assembly, the hearings of
the Ethics committee are closed, but the cases when the MP mentioned
in the application proposed to hold them open doors.
