ARMENIA MAY BECOME ATTRACTIVE FOR POLES
YEREVAN, April 29. /ARKA/. Armenia should become an attractive tourist
destination for Polish citizens, president of Polish-Armenian trade
and commerce chamber Zbignev Shmurlo told ARKA Agency.
"We're not only doing business; we will be showing Armenian culture
to ordinary Poles, non-Armenians living in Poland, so that they know
where it is situated, what history it has, that there are lots of
magnificent monuments here and that they could come and spend their
vacations here", Shmurlo said.
He also said that a special Dialogue of Cultures institute was
opened at the chamber for this purpose one and a half months ago. The
institute will be providing information about everyday life in Armenia,
its economy, politics and history.
