DEAD BODY OF TURKISH SHEPHERD THAT CROSSED INTO ARMENIA IS HANDED TO TURKEY

The dead body of Mustafa Ulker, who had crossed into the Armenian
border from Kars Province of Turkey, is handed to the Turkish side.
The body of the 35-year-old shepherd, who had crossed the border and
had died as a result of the shots that were fired upon him by the
Russian border guards in Armenia, is transported to Turkey, reports
Cihan News Agency of Turkey.
It is noted that negotiations were held with the Armenian side
for the return of the body, and once the respective protocols were
conducted, the body was taken and transported to Arpacay region, and,
subsequently, it will be sent to Erzurum for an autopsy.
To note, the Turkish press claims that the Turkish shepherd had
crossed into the Armenian border on Wednesday evening, and, as a
result, fire was opened in his direction.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the Armenia Border
Department of the Russian Federal Security Service had stated that
an incident had occurred at the Armenian-Turkish boundary. "An
investigation is conducted at present," the department had informed
Armenian News-NEWS.am.
