ORPHANAGE CHILDREN HAVE STRONGER MOTIVATION AND ASPIRATION TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS - PSYCHOLOGIST

    August 07, 2013 | 12:41

YEREVAN. - Orphanage children have psychological peculiarities, they
have stronger motivation and desire to achieve success, Armenian
    psychologist said.

Maryam Mehrabyan believes orphanage children have stronger motivation
unless there is no opposition from the society.

As an example, she brought a story of a girl who was the best student
in her class. The girls from orphanages often become exemplary
mothers and try to give their children what they had been deprived
of, the expert said during the Wednesday press conference dedicated
    to problems of orphanage children.

As to boys, psychologist noted that they start families rather late.

However, they become good, qualified professionals. The psychologist
also noted that children from orphanages are often haunted by fear:
"Who am I? What do I do? Where to go?"
