Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation
to Georgia (2006-2008) and Armenia (2009-2013), director of regional
programs of the Institute of Caspian Cooperation Vyacheslav Kovalenko
commented on the situation regarding the choice of Armenia between
the European and Eurasian Union. Armenia and the European Union
have successfully concluded negotiations on an agreement on a deep
and comprehensive free trade area, which is part of the Association
Agreement with the EU. But it could affect relations between Armenia
and the Eurasian community. What will Yerevan eventually choose?
