KARABAKH MANUFACTURER PLANS EXPORTING WOOLEN THREAD TO RUSSIA

Forest Company of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) is preparing
to export woolen thread to Russia, Company Director Irina Petrosyan
told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The enterprise will start operations in September and it will
manufacture woolen socks, too.
This project is a part of the program prepared by NKR Deputy PM
Arthur Aghabekyan.
Two other companies will purchase thread from Forest.
Aside from Armenia and NKR, Russia likewise will serve as a market
for the thread.
"We are helped by the fact that there is no woolen thread manufacturing
plant in southern Russia and in Georgia and Armenia," Petrosyan
concluded.
