RUSSIAN-AZERBAIJANI RELATIONS ARE INCOMPARABLE TO RUSSIA-ARMENIA ONES - ANALYST
August 13, 2013 | 05:28
There have always been problems and issues in relations between Russia
and Azerbaijan, Russian political scientist Victor Nadein-Raevsky
told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In his words, Russia has taken steps toward the settlement of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and organized numerous talks between the
leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
As for the Russian president's working visit to Azerbaijan on Tuesday,
considering that he has not yet paid an official visit to Armenia,
the analyst noted:
"The relations of Russia and Armenia are so much developed and broad
that they cannot be compared to the Russian-Azerbaijani relations.
Relations with Armenia are among the priorities of Russia's foreign
policy."
Nadein-Raevsky stressed that what is important is not the succession
of the visits, but rather the content of the cooperation.
