ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN INCIDENTS SHOULD NOT BE EXPLOITED - FORMER MP
August 13, 2013 | 11:38
YEREVAN. - Both the matter concerning Hrachya Harutyunyan and the
incident involving Armenians in a Russian market are artificially
blown out of proportion.
Armenian National Assembly former MP Aghasi Arshakyan noted the
aforesaid during a press conference on Tuesday, and he suggested not
exploiting these matters.
In Arshakyan's words, around thirty Armenians and seventy Russians
die in Russia every day. He added that the Armenians that die in
Russia are those that have gone there from Armenia.
In his view, however, these incidents should not be looked at with
a magnifying glass.
Reflecting on the incident involving Hrachya Harutyunyan, he noted
that all patients wear the same robe in the hospitals there.
"Let us seek our misfortune amongst ourselves, not [amongst] others,"
Aghasi Arshakyan added.
