YEREVAN. - Russian President Vldimir Putin's visit to Azerbaijan
was not discussed during the meeting of Armenian ruling party,
spokesperson said.
Eduard Sharmazanov, spokesperson for the Republican Party of Armenia,
said the Azerbaijani leadership was trying to use the visit for
domestic policy goals in the context of pending presidential elections.
Russian President's statement on solving Karabakh conflict exclusively
by political means was a "wake-up call" for Azerbaijani leadership's
military aspirations, he added.
