August 16, 2013 | 08:12
YEREVAN. - During the August 1 Cabinet session, Armenia's Prime
Minister Tigran Sargsyan had instructed all heads of departments to
conduct an analysis on the economic growth in their domains and to
present it during the next Cabinet meeting, Zhoghovurd daily reports.
"But the instruction giver himself does not follow the course. The
Government of Armenia already held its second session following that
announcement, but the ministers were silent again.
"Is there no [economic] growth in the country, or is the government
absent?
"First, Zhoghovurd tried to find out the answer to these questions
from the ministers.
"Labor and Social Affairs Minister Artem Asatryan said, 'Work is in
progress, it will be submitted to the committee for consideration,
subsequently, to the government.'
"And government information department head Susanna Tonoyan said,
'The ministers will present the economic indicators when the PM
returns from vacation,'" Zhoghovurd writes.
