The speaker of Armenia's National Assembly recently had to make his
comments on Armenia's health system to justify the motives behind
sending his father abroad for treatment, according to the paper.
The reason does not appear to be Hovik Abrahamyan's distrust in the
Armenian doctors, but rather the fact that the clinics in the country
do not have the necessary equipment. "There are good specialists in
Armenia, but the technical equipments isn't satisfactory," he has
told the Haykakazn Zhamanak correspondent.
The paper says, citing its sources, that Arbahamyan's father suffered
from heart and kidney failures.
