Raffi Hovannisian has actually won the presidential election. With
consideration of the real number of voters, electoral fraud methods
and ballot stuffing, void ballots, Raffi has won.
Now the question is what Raffi Hovannisian is going to do with this
victory. When he decided to run in the election, he knew what was
expected. Besides, he knows what usually happens after elections
in Armenia.
Raffi may follow the traditional Armenian way and join the class of
candidates who won - Vazgen Manukyan, Karen and Stepan Demirchyans,
Levon ter-Petrosyan. It means rallies, maybe clashes, disappointment,
deals in the result of which the government will stay in its place.
However, Raffi may follow another way which may lead to change. The
civic movements which are supported by Raffi have pointed out this
way. It is civic disobedience which can lead to systemic change. This
is the way to return to people their right to form government.
