Raffi Hovhannisyan has managed to restore people's trust in their own
potentials, an Armenian activist said at the opposition politician's
rally in Yerevan's Liberty Square.
Addressing the crowd, a former member of the opposition Armenian
National Congress, Karapet Rubinyan, said rhat the people who supported
the Heritage leader during the election race are the real heroes of
today's struggle.
Rubinyan, who was formerly a deputy speaker of the National Assembly,
said he has already managed to congratulate the former presidential
runner on what he called an election victory.
The oppositionist said his main concern in the past days was whether
the revolutionary spirit would succeed.
"That depends on the resoluteness of all. Raffi alone cannot do
anything unless we demonstrate resoluteness every day. We led a
struggle for four to five years before. And this is the continuation
of that struggle. That's not the struggle of an individual but that
of the people, and I am proud that we all are here today," he said.
