"HERITAGE" THE FALSIFICATIONS SUBSTANTIALLY AFFECTED THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTIONS

The results of the RA presidential elections published by CEC don't
reflect the will of the voters. Today the "Heritage" party came up
with the similar announcement.
Stating that according to the details of CEC Raffi Hovhannisyan
received 37% of the voters in comparison to 58% of Serzh Sargsyan,
the "Heritage" party said:
"Even according to this official data, Serzh Sargsyan not only didn't
have an advantage, but lost in most of urban precincts. Mostly the
separate rural districts and the 90% advantage in the rural area
assured the results, which were published by CEC".
"How does Serzh Sargsyan attribute a victory to himself, when he lost
in 21 out of 25 districts in Abovyan and compensated the losses with
"receiving" 1101 votes in one, when he lost in 19 out of 22 districts
in Ejmiatsin and compensated with the 96% votes in the neighboring
Aygek village. And this is everywhere. Is it trustworthy that the
candidate that registers a similar result in 80-90% of the districts
receives doubled results in 10%?
Surely, this evidences the falsification of the election lists and
election ballots in 10-20% of the districts, which affected the
election results and is an appropriate base to demand for naming the
elections invalid. Apparently those violations are possible to prove
with the signatures of voters, ballot lists and research, and the
appropriate legal steps are being taken.
Expressing regret for the detained pressure on the PEC members
representing the "Heritage" party in the above-mentioned 10-20% polling
sometimes their inability to withstand, over absolute majority of our
members and proxies in 1900 committees and in more than 800 stations we
are thankful for the work done. Among them are many who were calling or
coming to the headquarters of Raffi Hovannisyan just to say one word,
"We won", and were already giving the assessment of their work. We
highly appreciate the devotion and the struggle of the people of
Gyumri, Vanadzor and all the other victories.
We thank Armenian voters that, despite the inert situation in the
political field, with their activeness they served as an example
for political figures, made their choice, and, rejecting the ruling
administration and chose the future of Armenia. Even by the official
data, Raffi Hovannisian received more votes than any oppositional
force ever received after the 1998 elections. This national vote is
a commandment and obligation for the political opposition, to come
together and make the choice of the people a reality"- is said in
the announcement.
