Armen Sargsyan, who has been Armenia's ambassador to China since 2008,
is the brother of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. And he's a wealthy
diplomat to boot.
His declared revenues for 2011 were 1.484 million AMD in pension
and $31,716 in salary. He ended the year with 11.480 million AMD,
US $110,000, 10,000 Euros and 40,000 Chinese Yuan in the bank.
Another well-to-do diplomat is Armen Khachatryan. He's a former
president of the RA National Assembly and now serves as Armenia's
ambassador to Moldova and Belarus.
He declared $35,160 in revenue for 2011; mostly salary. Khachatryan
ended the year with 247 million AMD and $59,000 in the bank.
