YOUNG SCIENTISTS SUPPORT PROGRAM MAY BECOME ANNUAL

YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, ARMENPRESS: Young Scientists Support Program
(YSSP) may be continuing. Young scientist union chairman , (YSSP)
responsible Karlen Khachatryan stated in the briefing with Armenpress,
the program may become traditional if it will continue as successful
as during previous 6-7 months. According to the interlocutor the
results covered in the past half year were satisfying; reportedly
all four provisions included in the program have been implemented in
a proper form.
Young scientists in the frame of (YSSP) are participating in
various international conferences and contests hosted both in the
Republic and abroad. Already 40 scientists have been enabled that
opportunity. The conferences launched in Armenia are being organized
by various organizations.
Young Scientists Support Program (YSSP) kicked off in 2012 January
under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh
Sargsyan: the support amounted 100 million AMD. The council comprising
of young scientists was the responsible to manage the provided sum
of money. The young scientists have been promised the program could
become annual conditioned by the results of the program covering
the year. The amount was stipulated to be spent in four directions:
organizing business trips, youth conferences and symposiums, contests
and awarding of scientific grants.
