ARMENIA'S POPULATION'S GAS CONSUMPTION VOLUME DECREASES

As of January 1, 2013 some 638,551 consumers are connected to natural
gas network.
During the past year the number of gas consumers increased by 12,840
including by 2,364 in December which is the highest monthly index,
ArmRusgasprom's website reports.
It is also noted that the volume of the imported Russian gas to
Armenia in 2012 increased by 22.3%.
The volume of gas consumption by gas charging stations in 2012
increased by 15.4% while during the same period the gas consumption
by the population decreased.
