PRESIDENT SERZH SARGSYAN AWARDED A GROUP OF SERVICEMEN AND FREEDOM FIGHTERS

YEREVAN, JANUARY 25, ARMENPRESS: By the decree of President of the
Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan a number of servicemen and freedom
fighters were awarded by Armenian Republic medals, granted to titles
on the occasion of Army Day, for the considerable services rendered
in army building and combat readiness.
President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the servicemen and freedom
fighters, handed state high awards in the course of the award ceremony
launched on January 25, Presidential press service informed Armenpress.
Serzh Sargsyan stated:
" Dear compatriots,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I congratulate you on the Day of the Army and for receiving awards
and titles.
Your service is highly appreciated by our people. Achievements and
successes recorded by you in one hand are alike, in the other hand
fundamentally differ with the achievements of other specialists. They
are alike as your steps also take our Homeland a step forward. They
also differ as mission of servicemen and army are peculiar, especially
taking into consideration the geopolitical conditions we are living
and working.
I wish you and your families health and happiness. I wish you and
your colleagues new and new successes in your patriotic services. Be
sure that you all have an exceptional importance for all of us".
