The Our Lady of Armenia (OLA) Center is a private orphanage in Gyumri
housing mostly girls between the ages of six and 18. The Center is
operated by the Armenian Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, a
religious order of nuns established in 1847. The Director of OLA is
Sr. Arousiag Sajonian.
The Sponsorship Program is the primary mechanism through which SOAR
provides support to specific orphaned Armenians. We are seeking
sponsorship funds ($600/year) that will be used entirely and
exclusively for Vaghinak Baybourtyan (picture and profile below).
