    Romanian plum may be imported for `Armenian fruit' program

    YEREVAN. - Armenia's capital will host the fourth session of
    Armenia-Romania inter-parliamentary commission on trade, economic,
    scientific and technical cooperation.

    The co-chairs of the committee are Armenian Transport Minister Gagik
    Beglaryan and Economy Minister Varujan Vosganian.

    During the session scheduled for July 8-9, the sides will discuss
    prerequisites for active cooperation, in particular in agriculture.
    The sides will discuss trade on seeds and seedlings, especially
    possible import of Romanian plums for `Armenian fruit' program.

    The countries are actively cooperating in the field of culture. The
    Armenian cultural center of Bucharest is hosting an exhibition
    dedicated to Armenia's Independence and 500th anniversary of the
    Armenian printing.
