    JULY 18, 20:14

Diane Sands, a French pianist, TV host, composer, model and singer,
has recently become very popular. However, few people know that she
is Armenia and her real name is Diana Shnorkhikyan. In an interview
with NEWS.am STYLE she revealed the secret of her name.

You are a pianist, a TV host, a composer and a singer. What do you
    like most?

I love to compose music. That's my purpose in life.

How did you appear in modeling industry?

By chance, I have never thought doing this because I am not tall but
it worked well in the photo and commercials business.

What clothes do you like to wear in everyday life?

I like anything that is black, silver cross jewelries and hats. That
    is my rock dark side.

You are presenting Armenian beauty in "National cradle of beauty",
an art project by Natalia Ivanova. Please, tell about the project.

I am representing Armenia for "Les origines de la beaute", a nice
    project for UNESCO.

Have you ever had a photo shoot for Armenian magazines? How did you
    like it?

Yes I did photos for the El Style magazine. It was my first photo
shooting with an Armenian team, I mean a photographer, stylist, etc.

What is the secret of your excellent body?

Good food, much sleep, and a healthy lifestyle.

Why did you decide to take a stage name "Sands"? Is it difficult for
foreigners to pronounce your real name?

I chose it because it was very difficult for French people to read
    or spell it.

I know that you were raised in an Armenian family. What traditions
    have you preserved?

    The Armenian soul.
